Highly skilled migrant
You need an employment contract with a recognised sponsor and a salary that meets the income requirements. The application costs €423 and the IND decides within 90 days. The permit lasts as long as your contract, up to 5 years. You need an MVV entry visa.
Orientation year for highly educated persons
A one-year permit to look for work after finishing a qualifying degree or research. It costs €254, the IND decides within 90 days, and you may work freely. It cannot be extended.
